“Peter, is that you? It is! It is you!” The boy turned around, momentarily shocked. He was older, sun bleached hair curling at the tips and big, broad shoulders. He was wearing a tight dress shirt, open at the front and soot was smeared over it. But her eyes met his and she knew, she just knew, that this was the boy she had dreamed about for seven years. How on earth he had grown up puzzled her, but a part of her heart was selfish with happiness. He had come back to London, come back to her.
